Travel RN Opportunity - Med/Surg/Oncology

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Unit Information

• Unit: 5 Central/612
• Beds: 30
• Staff: 53 total
• Shift Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 4-6 RNs depending on census (RN ratio 1:6)
  • Night Shift: 4-6 RNs depending on census (RN ratio 1:6)
• Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:1 to 3:1 (not guaranteed)
• Equipment: Remote telemetry
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in Med/Surg specialty
• Certifications: BLS
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Required Skills:

  • Med/surgical experience (mandatory)
  • Excellence in customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Mom/baby experience with NRP preferred
• Surgical and medical experience considered a plus

• Cholecystectomy
• Appendectomy
• Medical management
