Travel RN - Lead Case Manager

Location: Tampa, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

Seeking a Lead Case Manager with case management experience in an acute care setting. This role is based in an 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for its rehabilitation programs.

  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
  • Weekend Hours: None
  • Call Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

  • Current licensure as one of the following:
    • Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Social Worker (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree)
    • Healthcare professional licensure as Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist
  • Certification in Case Management or Rehabilitation preferred (e.g., CCM, ARN, ACM, ANCC RN-BC)
  • Minimum 2 years of social work or case management experience in an inpatient setting (acute/rehabilitation hospital experience highly preferred)
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Basic computer skills and effective verbal and written communication in English

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Social work or case management experience in an inpatient acute or rehabilitation hospital setting
  • Ability to work cooperatively and be a team player

Patient Population & Environment

  • General patient population
  • 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
  • Electronic Health Record system: EPIC

Additional Information

  • Casual attire
  • Reporting time: 8 AM
  • No float or weekend requirements
