Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract
Location: Fostoria, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Every fourth weekend required
- Weekday shifts: 8 hours (08:30 - 16:30)
- Weekend shifts: 12 hours (06:30 - 18:30)

Equipment Experience Required
- GE imaging systems
- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
Imaging and Procedures Required
- Abdomen and Pelvis: Abdomen with/without contrast, Colorectal studies (rectal contrast), Enerography Study, Intravenous Pyelogram, Pelvis with/without contrast
- Chest: Chest with/without contrast, Vascular chest
- Head and Neck: Carotid, Head with/without contrast, Sinuses, Soft Tissue Neck, Trauma Head
- Spine and Musculoskeletal: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
- Special Procedures: Biopsies, Colonography or virtual Colonography, Myelography
- Image Display and Post Processing: MRP, ROI
Professional Skills Required
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Radiation Safety
- Starting Peripheral IVs
- Venipuncture
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
- Unit accepts first-time travelers (no prior travel experience required)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
Background Checks
- 7-year background check within 12 months of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
- Fingerprinting (Ohio BCI and FBI) required within 12 months of start for applicable units; must be updated annually
- Education verification required (highest level)
- State-specific background checks as applicable
Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (AHA provider, instructor, or RQI accepted)
- PALS (AHA accepted)
- NRP (AAP accepted)
- TNCC
- EFM (updated every 2 years)
- NIH Stroke Certification (updated annually or per expiration)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - can be obtained onsite after start with approval
- Tech certifications as applicable (e.g., ASCP, AMT for lab techs)
- State license primary source verification
- NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN
Competency Exams (as applicable)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Color Blind Testing (for MT, MLT, MLS, Cytotechnologist)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (RNs only, annual update)
- Conscious Sedation Competency Exam (ER & ICU)
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within last 12 months (latex-free PPE available)
- N95 Fit Test within 12 months, updated annually (KN95 not accepted)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years or declination accepted
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSPOT) within 3 months, updated annually
- MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) - positive titer, 2 vaccines, or approved exemption
- Hepatitis B series, positive titer, or declination
- Varicella - positive titer, 2 vaccines, or approved exemption
- Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months (instant acceptable unless on Rx)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
Other Requirements
- 2 professional references within 2 years of start (at least one from a leader, e.g., Charge RN or above)
- Skills checklist required for all candidates
- Radiation badges issued by facility (not recruiter responsibility)
This position offers a comprehensive opportunity for experienced Radiology / Cardiology professionals to work in a diverse patient care environment with a variety of imaging procedures and settings. Prior travel experience is not required, making it suitable for first-time travel healthcare workers.
