Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Five 8-hour shifts, 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Work Schedule: Holidays and weekends as needed
• Floating: Must be willing to float to different units within the organization as needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Specialty Experience: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Technologist)
• Minimum Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard CT technologist experience required
• Equipment Experience: Siemens CT scanner experience is mandatory
• Procedure Experience: Extremities, Abdomen, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine, and other X-ray procedures

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AART CT Certification
• State License (Ohio or compact license with additional documentation if from other states)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific code 3701.881)
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
• Education accreditation verification required immediately after contract signing
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug test within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (adult dose after age 11/12)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • TB questionnaire
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
  • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer (medical exemption possible)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
• COVID vaccination not required but strongly recommended

Additional Requirements

• Must complete unit-specific competency exams, including:

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (for RNs/LVNs)
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam for RNs (updated annually)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
• Various facility-specific compliance forms and training, including fraud, waste, and abuse training (annual)
• References: Two professional references required, at least one from a manager or formal leadership

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
