Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Saint Marys, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Call Requirements:
- Every 4th weekend (7 PM Friday – 7 AM Sunday)
- 1 holiday per contract (24-hour call)
- Floating: Required as needed within scope
- Locals Allowed: No
- Radius Restriction: 50 miles
- First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 1 year in specialty
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Additional Recommended Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required for RRTs and RNs in acute care settings
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required for RRTs and RNs in acute care settings
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – preferred for RRTs
Background Checks & Compliance
- Criminal background check within 6 months of start (including FCRA compliant 7-year search)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
- HHS/OIG check required
- Fingerprinting (BCI and FBI) within 6 months of start and updated annually; can start with results pending
- Fingerprint clearance attestation required within 6 months of start
Health & Safety Requirements
- Pre-employment physical exam within 30 days of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (THC tested)
- Fit test to be completed onsite during orientation
- Immunizations and titers required or documentation of immunity for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- TB test (2-step PPD, T-Spot, or QGold within 30 days of start) and annual TB questionnaire
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series proof, or signed declination)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Seasonal flu vaccination required (declinations not accepted except for approved medical or religious exemptions)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (2 doses Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose Johnson & Johnson) with facility-specific declination/exemption accepted
Competency & Facility Requirements
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
- General competency exam required
- Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- State license primary source verification required
- Facility-specific documents including confidentiality statement, photo for badge, and various exemption forms as applicable
Notes
- Floating may be required within the scope of practice
- Must comply with all facility-specific policies and documentation requirements
- Candidate must complete all required background checks, health screenings, and certifications prior to or at start of assignment
This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology or Cardiology who are open to travel assignments and meet the certification and compliance requirements listed above.
