Job Opportunity: CT Scan Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Description

• Immediate start, contract through 2/15
• Shifts: Saturdays & Sundays, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Perform CT procedures including administering contrast material under physician direction
• Set exposure factors per protocols and operate CT equipment
• Work independently or as part of an imaging team

Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Ohio State License required (must be willing to obtain prior to start)
• AHA BLS certification required (in hand)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as applicable (AHA approved or RQI acceptable)
• Background checks including BCI and FBI fingerprinting within 12 months, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• Fit mask testing onsite on first day
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Tdap vaccine every 10 years (medical exemptions reviewed case-by-case)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray as applicable
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Annual flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (exemptions require documentation)
• Drug screening: Standard 10-panel within 12 months, updated annually

Experience

• Minimum 2 years clinical practice in an acute care setting in a similar area required (based on employment application history requirement)
• No explicit prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Must carry valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment
• Background checks must be current and include FCRA compliant 7-year search
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; results required before contract extension
• Candidates must complete facility-specific online training modules prior to start (approx. 4 hours)
• References: 2 professional references within 1 year from a manager, supervisor, or director required
• Annual competency exams and skills checklists required
• Radiation badge provided by facility when applicable

Summary

This is a short-term travel contract for a CT Scan Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and Ohio licensure (or willingness to obtain). The role requires weekend night shifts and involves performing CT scans independently or as part of a team. Candidates must meet comprehensive health, immunization, and background check requirements and complete facility onboarding prior to starting. Prior travel experience is not required.
