Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • Rotating weekends required
  • Unit serves Adults & Geriatrics
  • Patient rooms: 8
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2

Requirements

  • Specialty: CT Tech within Radiology / Cardiology
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of CT Tech experience (screening for 1.5 years)
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT CT certification required
    • ACLS (AHA only, no certificates of completion accepted)
    • BLS (AHA only, no certificates of completion accepted)
    • PALS (AHA only, required only for certain pediatric units)
    • NRP (as applicable)
  • Experience with GE, PAC & Siemens equipment preferred
  • Prior travel experience: Not required (first timers and locals are welcome)

Compliance & Documentation

  • Background checks including 7-year history, sex offender registry, nationwide checks
  • Government-issued photo ID required
  • E-Verify and other federal screenings required and updated annually
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Fit mask test within 1 year (N95 masks accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual TB questionnaire if past positive)
  • Immunizations required: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (titers or vaccines with boosters if needed)
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screens not accepted)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required year-round with strict deadlines; no exemptions allowed

Additional Information

  • Two recent professional references required (from managers/supervisors; charge RN references not accepted)
  • Facility-specific orientation and testing including EKG competency test for certain units
  • Candidates must complete and sign various facility-specific agreements and attestations prior to start
  • Timely submission of all required documents is critical to avoid removal from assignment
