Description

Travel RN - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Shift: 7 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Floating Policy: As needed
Documentation System: Meditech

Experience & Certifications

Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2+ years in ER nursing (higher value between sources)
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIH certification required
Licensure: Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
Preferred: Experience with Meditech documentation system

Dress Code & Appearance

Scrub Color: Royal Blue
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
Hair: Neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; visible piercings such as nose or tongue rings are prohibited
