Travel RN - NICU

Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: NICU
Number of Beds: 41
Number of Staff: 60
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9+ RNs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9+ RNs
Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, occasionally 1:4
Equipment Used: HFOV, Central Lines, Conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, Ostomy care
EMR Systems: CPN and Meditech

Required Skills & Experience

Specialty: NICU RN
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year Level II-III NICU experience
Preferred Experience: Level III-IV NICU experience
Typical Procedures: Surgery (except heads/hearts), Respiratory support, MicroPremie care
Personality Fit: Teamwork oriented

Certifications & Licenses

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Registered Nurse License

Schedule & Work Environment

4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
No on-call required
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
