Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift

Days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)

Specialty

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in OR nursing with strengths in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
Cerner EMR experience required
CNOR certification preferred

Certifications Required

ACLS
BLS
PALS

Job Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the Operating Room in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
Ensure availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases
Communicate with patient families
Update physician preference cards
Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
Supervise personnel delivering patient care
Float between campuses as needed

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Must demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the OR setting
Work according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies and procedures
