Job Opportunity: RN IR/EP - Massachusetts (Salem)

Position Details

• Specialty: RN IR/EP (Interventional Radiology/Electrophysiology)

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• Work Setting: Off-site at Lynn Medical Village CT Scanner (Radiology)
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Patient Population: All
• Typical Census: 1-2 patients
• EMR System: EPIC
• Floating: Not required
• Rotating Shifts: Not required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Experience & Education Requirements

• Minimum 3 years medical-surgical nursing experience
• Preferred 1 year critical care experience
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Skills & Certifications

• IV placement
• Emergency response and management
• Massachusetts RN License (no conditional licenses accepted)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association (AHA) only)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only)

Additional Requirements

• Must pass MGB Dysrhythmia Exam (80% passing score)
• Must pass MGB Medication Exam (80% passing score)
• Must pass MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam (80% passing score)
• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date (no religious exemptions)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, National Sex Offender Check, and exclusion checks
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season
• Required submission documents include resume (7 years work history), references (2 recent, at least 1 supervisor), skills checklist, candidate submission coversheet
