Job Opportunity: Technologist - Electrophysiology (Days)

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
EMR system: EPIC
Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
On-call pay available
Charge/Precept pay available

Specialty & Experience Requirements

Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist
Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required
Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL required
CEPS or RCES certification desired but not mandatory
Professional references from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months preferred
Valid Driver’s License required

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred
Prior travel experience is not required but desired

Additional Information

Orientation dates available: February 2 and February 16
Facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a strong cardiac care program
Known for comprehensive cancer care and rehabilitation services
Teaching hospital with a long history of nursing and medical education

This position is ideal for experienced Electrophysiology Technologists seeking a temporary assignment in a well-established regional medical center with opportunities to work across multiple campuses.
