Job Details

• Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Start Dates: Multiple start dates available (e.g., 2/9, 2/16, 2/23)
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (strict requirement)
• Certifications Required: ARRT (CT)
• First-time Travelers: Not accepted
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule)
• Pending License: Not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission

Required Credentials & Certifications

• ARRT (CT) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS): AHA or ARC required for all candidates except some specific roles
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Required for certain departments (check if applicable)
• Other Certifications:

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) not required for this role
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) not required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred but not required
• State License: Not required for CT Techs assigned to Tennessee; national certification suffices
• Tech Certification: National certification required; physical copy preferred but not mandatory

Experience & Travel Requirements

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years in Radiology/Cardiology CT Tech role
• Prior Travel Experience: Not accepted for first-time travelers (must have prior travel experience)

Background & Compliance Checks

• Background check within 60 days of start including:

  • Statewide, county, federal searches
  • Education verification (diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu)
  • Sex offender search
  • Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry (for TN facilities)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and annually thereafter

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
• Fit mask test (3M N-95 only), passed within 1 year, required
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending results accepted)
• Immunizations required:

  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters if needed)
  • Varicella (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters if needed)
  • Hepatitis B (3-shot series, positive titer, or signed declination)
  • TB test (2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot within 1 year, updated annually)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season

Documentation & Compliance

• Two recent professional references required
• Skills checklist and internal evaluations required if employed with agency for 1+ year
• Facility-specific dress code:

  • Ceil blue top and pants with optional white lab coat or matching scrub jacket for CT Techs
  • No prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses with glare, etc.)

• All travelers must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
• No exceptions for pending licenses or first-time travel
• Strict adherence to 50-mile radius rule for local candidates (locals not accepted)
• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with initial application
