Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Sauk Centre, Minnesota

Job Description

• Perform both CT Tech and X-Ray Tech duties.
• Alternating shifts: 4x8 and 5x8 day shifts, start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
• 72 hours per pay period.
• On-call: 1-2 shifts per week.
• Weekend work: Every 4th weekend.
• Mammography skills/experience is a major plus but not required.
• Accepts first-time travelers.
• Traveler's primary residence must be at least 25 miles away from the facility.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CT Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC experience preferred.
• Mammography experience preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1 year or more based on specialty standards.
• Prior travel experience: Not required (accepts first-time travelers).

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start, including:

  • 7-year search, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide, education verification.
  • International searches if candidate has lived/worked outside the US.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG excluded provider checks required.
• Diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party education verification.
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required before start (no pending fingerprints allowed).
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Drug testing (9 panel) within 1 year of start (not required for client clearance but recommended).
• Immunizations and health documentation required:

  • Tdap vaccination (no religious declinations accepted).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Minnesota state guidelines.
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof of immunity or vaccination.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination.
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined).

Additional Requirements

• Two references from recent employers within 2 years required.
• Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates.
• Education modules to be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours).
• Dress code: RRTs wear dove gray (light gray) scrubs.
• Candidate must sign confidentiality agreement prior to start.
• Badge photo required (grey background, no selfies or professional photos unless headshot).
• Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment.

Notes

• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and EFM certifications are not required for this position but may be relevant for other roles.
• State license primary source verification required, but facility does not require state license for Radiology Tech positions.
• Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted.
