Job Opportunity: RN Cardiac Cath Lab (Long-Term Assignment)

Job Details

• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• On-Call: 7 on-call nights per month, including one full weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and 4 additional nights
• Unit Description: Cardiac catheterization and EP lab with 2 rooms. Procedures include PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations, etc.
• Patient Population: Adult
• EMR System: EPIC - Cupid
• Floating: Not required

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Cath/EP Lab nursing
• Experience with interventional cardiac procedures and scrub skills

Certifications & Licenses Required

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• AHA ACLS Certification (only AHA accepted)
• BLS Certification (AHA only)
• Fit Test (N95 respirator) within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• MGB Medication Exam (80% passing within 365 days)
• MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam (80% passing)
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine (required during flu season, no exemptions)
• TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background checks and verifications as required by Massachusetts regulations
• Additional required health screenings and documentation as per facility policy

Additional Requirements

• Documentation of work experience and education for the past 7 years
• Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above)
• Completion of skills checklist and candidate submission paperwork
• Compliance with all facility-specific onboarding and credentialing processes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• No floating between units required.
• On-site parking and a brand new on-site call room are available.
