Job Opportunity: RN - OR (Travel)

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Operating Room (OR) - 701
Number of ORs: 11
Number of Staff: 53
Shift: Friday thru Sunday, Saturday thru Monday (7 AM - 7 PM)
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Equipment: OR-specific
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Operating Room (OR)
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Required Skills:
- Charge Nurse experience in OR (Director is specifically seeking this)
- Trauma Level II experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with trauma cases
Flexible and easy-going personality with great communication skills

Neuro/Spine
Cardiovascular Thoracic (CVT)
Orthopedics (Ortho)
Gynecology (GYN)
Robotics

Additional Information

The unit has a trauma team, neuro tech, and heart team on-call support.

Schedule offers weekend coverage with a 12-hour shift.
