Job Opportunity: Stepdown RN

Location: Kansas City, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 7am - 7pm, 3 days per week
• One weekend required per month
• Specialty: RN Step Down

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• NIHSS
• Nursys License Verification
• Primary Source Verification of professional license/certification (within 30 days of start)
• COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses + booster or declination completed)
• MMR (Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Influenza Vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• TB Test (within 1 year of start date)
• Varicella (Vaccination or titer showing immunity)
• Tdap (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Annual Respirator Fit Test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
• Physical/Health Statement (must state clear to work, completed annually or within 60 days of start)
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport

Required Exams & Testing

• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Specialty Exam (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Skills Checklist
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start)

Additional Requirements

• National Criminal Background Check (within 1 year of start)
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• Prime Orientation Packet (upload Essentials Form and Post Test)
• Prime Education Verification (copy of diploma or transcripts accepted if third party verification unavailable)
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Job Description (signed by employee)
• Prime Resume (up to date at time of offer acceptance)
• Two professional references required (one must be from a manager or direct supervisor)
