Job Opportunity: Mammography Technician

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Monday/Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekday hours can be flexible

Required Credentials & Certifications

• MGB Badge Photo: Recent color photo (within 6 months), no selfies or filters, plain background, no eyeglasses
• BLS Certification: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted (AHA preferred)
• License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• ARRT Certification
• Fit Test: N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof: Two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or blood test proof of immunity
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start, including county and international searches if applicable
• Massachusetts CORI Background Check: Within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• Resume: Past 7 years of work experience with city & state included (required for submission)
• References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above in skillset (required for submission)
• Skills Checklist: Required for submission
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company (highest level of education)
• SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check, covering past 7 years
• National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days of start and annually, including OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid lists
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required for skill

Optional but Preferred

• Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity Proof
• Tdap Vaccination: Within 10 years, updated upon expiration
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: If applicable
• TB Symptom Survey: If positive PPD, completed prior to start and updated annually
