Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, either directly or indirectly, following the hospital’s patient care philosophy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in Labor and Delivery
• Licensure:

  • Current RN license in the State of Rhode Island (must maintain)
  • Nursys verification required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - mandatory
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification preferred
• Skills:

  • EPIC electronic medical record experience is required
• Additional Requirements:

  • Fingerprinting in Rhode Island within 30 days of start
  • Completion of multiple competency exams and skills checklists specific to RN and Labor & Delivery
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical exemption
  • Immunizations required: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza (seasonal), Varicella, Tdap
  • TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA) within the last year
  • Fit testing for N95 masks within one year prior to start
  • Background checks including federal, state, and national databases within 6 months of start
  • Submission of professional references and employment verification for the last 5 years
  • Completion of confidentiality agreements and orientation packets prior to start

• Required Years of Experience: 2 years in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required

Shift Details

• 36 hours per week, night shift
