Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida

Unit Information

• Facility Type: Hospital
• Unit: CT Tech
• Equipment: GE 1.5, Discovery 450 CT Scanners (2 scanners, 2 tables)
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts, day and night
• Staffing: 2 CT Techs per shift, 24 hours a day
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays
• Create detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment
• Work independently with critical thinking and flexibility
• Must be willing to work weekends and night shifts
• No on-call required
• Dress code: All black scrubs

Requirements

• Certifications: ARRT Certification, BLS required
• Licenses: Radiology Tech License required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT Tech specialty
• Preferred Skills:

  • ACLS (not required)
  • RT (T), ASRT, FASRT certifications preferred
• Personality Fit: Critical thinker, adaptable, flexible

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
