Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: El Paso, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment. Standard shift hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some variation based on operational needs (possible shifts 10:00 AM–6:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM). On-call and weekend call responsibilities are required.

- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Beds: 3 Cardiac Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, 1 Hybrid Lab
- Staff: 1 Charge RN, 3 CVTs, 3 RNs
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- EMR System: Meditech
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Cath and EP experience required)
- Skills:
- Cath Lab experience is mandatory
- Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures preferred
- Typical Procedures:
- Cardiac diagnostics
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Impella device support
- Peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty
- Electrophysiology studies
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Thrombectomy
- Device implants
