Job Details

• Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 7 PM - 7 AM
• Facility Type: Stroke Certified Hospital and Level 1 Trauma facility
• Equipment Used: GE 64 VCT/Lightspeed, GE 128 Revolution, Med Rad Injector, Ulrich Motion Injector
• Scrub Color: Any
• On-Call: None
• Work Independence: Must be able to work independently when needed
• Years of Experience Required: 1 year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted with 1 year of experience
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS

Required Certifications & Competencies

• ARRT (CT) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Must be AHA certified (ARC may be acceptable case-by-case)
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit or specialty (not explicitly required for this role): ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, etc.

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Comprehensive background checks covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check upon hire
• HHS/OIG check upon hire
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results within 90 days of start
• Education verification for highest level of education relative to specialty
• State-specific searches including Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search, PATCH Search, Medicheck Search
• Employment application with 7 years of complete work history and explanations for gaps over 90 days
• Minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Fit test questionnaire and fit mask test (not required for 100% remote non-clinical candidates)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (annual updates not required)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella – positive titer or vaccination series required
  • Hepatitis B – positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series required (declinations not accepted)
  • Varicella – positive titer or vaccination series required
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination with facility-specific form
• Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required for new candidates starting October through May (declination allowed only under specific conditions)
• Respirator safety clearance required for candidates starting 04/07/2025 and beyond (annual medical clearance)

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience required for this position
• Must be able to work independently and handle specialized radiology equipment
• Stroke and trauma facility environment
• Background and health compliance are strict and must be completed timely for clearance

This position is suitable for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience looking for a 13-week travel contract in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Certified hospital setting. First-time travelers are welcome.
