Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: CT Technologist
- Shifts: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
- Start Date: February 23
- Contract Duration: 3-6 months option (interpreted as 13 weeks here)
- Work Setting: May be assigned to various hospital or clinic locations within the system
- Department: 24/7 CT department with 2 Philips 128 slice scanners; ER/Inpatient/Outpatient cases; stroke certified center
- Facility Type: Magnet, Teaching Hospital with 134 staffed beds
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: No prints; scrubs provided for OR
- Parking: Free
Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-timers accepted)
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA provider, traditional AHA only)
- ARRT (CT) required
- NMTCB preferred
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred but not explicitly required
- Licensing:
- Pending Oregon license accepted if application submitted and received by licensing board
- Other Requirements:
- OBMI (Oregon Background Multistate Index) required
- On-call required
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating within hospital required; no floating to sister hospitals
- Locals accepted
- RTO (Return to Office) restrictions: 1 week max
- Open to block scheduling: No (unless otherwise stated)
Compliance & Documentation
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- Federal, state, county, national sex offender, and international checks if applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required 30 days prior to start and updated monthly
- Education verification required for all clinical roles
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start, confirming good physical and mental health
- Fit mask testing required onsite on first day; must fill out respiratory questionnaire prior to start; annual updates required
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
- Negative TB test (Qgold/TSPOT) within 1 year; PPD not accepted; annual updates required
- Immunity or vaccination documentation required for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Drug testing: 10-panel with methamphetamines listed, within 30 days prior to start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination required during flu season
- Facility Specific Documents:
- Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (Bloodborne Pathogen, Tuberculosis, HIPAA training)
- Vaccine declination/waiver forms if applicable
- Respiratory questionnaire and fit testing documentation management
- Photo for badge required prior to start
- Traveler network account form due within 48 hours of signing contract
- References: At least 2 professional employment references required
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology and general competency exams required annually with passing grade of 85% or higher

- Floating within hospital required, but no floating to sister hospitals
- Pending license candidates must have application submitted and received by licensing board to qualify
- First-time travelers accepted; prior travel experience not required
