Job Description

• Position: CT Tech
• Schedule:

  • Friday 7 PM - 7 AM at X-ray/CT
  • Saturday 7 PM - 7 AM CT only
• Start Date: ASAP
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT and X-ray
• First-time travelers are welcome (no prior travel experience required)
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Dress code: Black scrubs

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT)
• State License (Missouri or Compact License as applicable)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications may be required depending on unit (confirm with program management)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT and X-ray experience
• No prior travel experience required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Criminal background check within 12 months, including SSN trace, 7-year county residency/work history, nationwide search, and sex offender search
• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• I9 verification and E-Verify compliance
• Residency Declaration Form if working on a compact license in a different state
• Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health
• Negative drug screen within 12 months of start
• TB test (PPD, Qgold, or TSPOT) within 12 months; chest X-ray within 5 years if PPD positive
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B (or declination)
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
• COVID vaccine series preferred
• OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start (fit testing done onsite during orientation)
• Photo for badge (passport style, plain background)
• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules and agreements prior to start
• Skills checklist and references as per agency standards

Additional Notes

• Fit testing for respirators will be completed onsite during the first week of orientation
• Candidates must complete all required compliance modules and facility-specific training annually
• Post-start orientation checklists must be completed and submitted within the first week
• Some certifications and training (e.g., AbioMed Impella Online Training) may be required depending on unit assignment
• No prior travel experience required for this position
