Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend, no call requirements
Floating: Required to float to other units as needed
Block Scheduling: Yes
Unit Type: Cardiac Telemetry
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
Scrub Color: Navy

Requirements

Licensure: Valid RN license in Indiana
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
EMR: Cerner preferred
Skills:
- Interpret telemetry strips
- Administer/manage cardiac medications (PO, IVP, IV drip)
- Charting assessments
- Bedside shift report
- Patient safety management
Additional:
- Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Required to work holidays scheduled during contract period unless covered by regular staff

Notes

Travelers must submit required licenses and certifications with their application or they will be rejected.
Driver’s license and permanent home address must be included and must match ID.
