Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Call Requirements: None
Floating: Required (to Medical Surgical or ED holding)
Block Scheduling: Yes
Patient Ratio: 6:1 (highest level)
Unit Beds: 26
Scrub Color: Blue
Orientation: 2 days approved

Requirements

Licensure: Valid RN license in Indiana
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience (specialty)
EMR System: Cerner
Travel Distance: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Documentation: Required to submit license, certifications, and driver's license with matching permanent home address

Additional Information

No required holidays or blackout dates for return to office (RTO)
Maximum RTO allowed: 3 days
Highest patient acuity level: Med Surg / Med Tele level 1
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

This position is suitable for RNs with at least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing, comfortable working night shifts, and willing to float within the hospital units.
