Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: MRI Technologist
• License/Certification: ARRT certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Must have current certification from AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military (AHA preferred)
• Fit Test: N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30) with no exemptions
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if >6 month break
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
  • If positive TB test, documentation of negative chest x-ray required
• Background Checks and Verifications:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start date, updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days of start date, updated annually
  • Social Security Number trace and education verification required
• Professional Documentation:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above) in skillset
  • Skills checklist required for submission
  • Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for extensions
  • Candidate submission coversheet required for submission
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required for the skill

Additional Notes

• MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Must comply with all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start date.

This position is ideal for MRI Technologists with ARRT certification who are comfortable working overnight shifts and meeting comprehensive health and background screening requirements.
