Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Findlay, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform Radiology and Cat Scan duties
• Does not require CT or MRI certification, but ARRT RT(R) license is required
• Night shift (3rd shift)
• 36 hours per week
• Work every 4th weekend
• Call and holiday coverage required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• ARRT RT(R) license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
• No prior travel experience required (first-time travelers okay)

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as applicable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) as applicable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as required

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Education verification required
• Primary source verification of state license
• NURSYS verification as applicable (for RNs)
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Unit competency exam required and must be updated annually

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Initial physical exam, updated annually
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year of start; chest X-ray if past positive
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella (chickenpox)
• 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination form (required by 12/1 annually)
• COVID vaccination preferred but not mandatory

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
• Proof of I9 or attestation
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Residency declaration form if working on a compact license
• Professional references (2 clinical references or hospital evaluations accepted)
• Completion of application/resume and skills checklist as applicable
• Orientation and compliance documents required prior to start

This position is suitable for CT Techs with at least 1 year of experience and an ARRT RT(R) license, including those new to travel assignments.
