Travel RN - Med Surg

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel

Facility Overview

Tertiary care regional referral hospital with nationally recognized patient outcomes
Level 1 Trauma Center
Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery
High-risk Obstetrical Care
Wide range of specialties including Critical Care, Cardiology, Cancer Care, Surgical Services, Women's Health, and more

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
BLS certification required

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
Complete and clear background screenings required prior to start, including:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
- FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (must be within last 2 years or completed prior to start)
- PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)

Orientation

Weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays

Notes for Candidates

Fingerprinting and clearances must be completed and submitted before candidate can be cleared to start
Multiple specialized services and advanced technology available at the facility
