Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech - Radiology

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Mammography Tech (Breast Center)
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend: Optional, one Saturday per month offered
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: No

Unit Information

• Unit: 2nd Floor, Breast Center
• Number of Beds: 225
• Patient Type: Outpatient
• Patient Ratios: 10 Mammography Techs on day shift
• Equipment: Hologic Mammography system
• EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Tech experience (highest required years of experience)
• Valid ARRT Mammography (ARRT-Mammo) certification
• Valid Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Tech License
• Proficient in Screening Mammography procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Hologic Mammography equipment
• Skills in Breast Ultrasound (US) or Diagnostic Breast Imaging

Personality & Work Environment

• Motivated, proficient technologist who works well in a team environment
• Willingness to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise

• Scrubs color: Grey

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience required
• No call or weekend mandatory shifts
• No float requirements
• Candidate may be required to complete education modules prior to the first day
