Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 119
Staff on Day Shift: 3 CT Techs
Staff on Night Shift: 1 CT Tech
Equipment: GE Optima 660 64 slice and GE Lightspeed VCT 64 slice
EMR System: Meditech
Weekend overnight position, no on-call required

Typical Procedures

General CT
Trauma/Stroke CT Angiography (CTA)

Required Qualifications

ARRT (CT) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech

Preferred Skills

Trauma experience
Stroke/Emergency CTA experience
Strong patient care skills
Empathy
Good work ethic

Personality Fit

Self-starter who can adapt to changing Emergency Department priorities throughout the shift

Additional Information

No floating to other areas
Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
