Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• On-Call Requirement: Yes

  • 9-13 days of call in a 6-week period
  • Call hours: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM weekdays; 5:30 PM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday on weekends (rotating schedule)
• Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
• First-timers: Not accepted (prior experience required)
• Local Candidates: Accepted (local rate adjustment applies)
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Pending State License: Not accepted
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: 1 request allowed

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab/IR Tech experience (strong, experienced candidates only)
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RCIS with IR Tech experience

Special Requirements

• Strong, experienced Cath Lab Tech/IR experience mandatory
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Copy of Driver’s License/State ID (must match state of compact license if applicable)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (all required annually)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (must be updated annually)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (annual updates required)
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• State license verification (Maryland license or compact license with proof of residency)

• Candidates must be able to meet call requirements and weekend shifts
• No floating or block scheduling flexibility
• Strong emphasis on compliance with health and background documentation
• This is a travel/contract position with a 13-week duration
