Job Details

  • Preferred start date: March 30
  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Call required: Monday through Sunday

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Vascular Technologist
  • Experience as an Echo Technologist
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Credentials accepted through ARDMS or CCI

Experience

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Ultrasound Tech - Vascular)
  • Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with echo and vascular registry requirements (typically 1+ years)
  • No prior travel experience required

Certifications & Competencies

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
    • Varicella
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Fit mask test (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S), updated annually
  • Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including THC within 10 business days prior to start; no pending results allowed
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required for 2025-26 season

Additional Requirements

  • Completion of facility-specific orientation modules (3-4 hours)
  • Various acknowledgments and forms to be reviewed and signed prior to start (e.g., vaccination info, TB and occupational exposure, patient-centered pledge, confidentiality, compliance, background check authorization)
  • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
  • References: 2 required within 3 years of start
  • Resume/application required
