Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekend Shifts: 2 weekend shifts per month (with a weekday off)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Floating: Required as per facility policy
• Documentation System: Meditech

Unit & Specialty Information

• Unit: Physical Therapy
• Patient Population: In-patient rehab and acute hospital patients (neuro, ortho, tele, ICU)
• Procedures: Neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments, acute care evaluations and treatments

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in inpatient and rehabilitation settings
• Physical Therapist experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Certifications in NDT or brain injury

Additional Information

• Start time no later than 8:00 AM
• Dress code: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket; white or black undershirts only
• Nail policy: Clean and healthy
• Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors; facial hair must be neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Should be covered when possible; uncovered body art addressed individually
• Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible piercings elsewhere
