Job Opportunity: Polysomnography Technologist

Location: Clive, Iowa
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Nights), No Sundays, No Holidays
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Night shift coverage with occasional coverage for vacation or extended illness
• Pediatric experience required
• Experience with EPIC Clinical, Philips G3, and Sleepware systems preferred
• Must hold current Iowa licensure

Required Qualifications

• Current Iowa license as a Polysomnography Technologist
• Pediatric experience required
• BRPT certification and BLS certification required
• Proof of vaccinations and health screenings including:

  • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption
  • MMR
  • Fit Test
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
  • Varicella
  • Physical/Health Statement (fit to work)
  • 10-panel drug screen (no THC) within 30 days of start
  • TDAP vaccine (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)

Additional Requirements

• Background checks including federal, state, and county criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries, and other professional screenings within 30 days of start
• Professional documentation including:

  • Resume and skills checklist within the last year
  • Two professional references
  • Education verification (degree or diploma/GED)
  • Various signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, and integrity forms
• Specialty-specific competency testing and Joint Commission testing within the last year
• Must complete required system access and onboarding forms prior to start

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• Pediatric experience is mandatory
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• This is a travel assignment with a 12-week contract length
