Job Description

Under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, the CT Technologist performs all diagnostic procedures with knowledge of pertinent academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality exams. The role involves working effectively with patients and physicians and maintaining cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel. The primary focus is prioritizing patient care and delivering the utmost quality as a technologist. Training will enable the technologist to perform necessary procedures on patients of all age groups, from newborn to geriatric.

Work Environment:

• Dress Code: Personal scrubs, any color
• EMR System: HMS Medhost
• CT Scanner: Siemens Somatom 40 slice
• X-ray Equipment: Carestream

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Imaging/CT/X-Ray experience
• ARRT (CT)(R) Certification (mandatory)
• Ability to work independently and start immediately ("hit the ground running")
• IV skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, Siemens, OEC C-arm equipment
• Bachelor’s degree
