Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

CT department covering Emergency Department (ED), Outpatient (OP), and Inpatient (IP) settings
Number of staff: 10 (combination of full-time and PRN)
Shifts: Day and Night shifts staffed by CT Techs
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Fixed CT scanners
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech (Expanse starting 10/9)

Typical Procedures

All ordered ED CT exams
All inpatient CT exams
All outpatient CT exams

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) certification
BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a trauma facility, preferably Trauma Level II

Additional Information

Teamwork mindset is highly valued
Dress code: Green scrubs
Weekend and on-call schedules are variable
