Job Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Call required
• Scrubs provided
• EPIC charting experience required
• First time travelers accepted

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• ARRT-R or CCI certification
• Experience with EPIC charting system

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC accepted at start; must renew with AHA only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC accepted at start; must renew with AHA only
• Pass/Fail Testing (Medication Test/Pharmacology and Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exams) required with limited attempts
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required and must be completed within 30 days of start
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required with a passing score of 80% or higher

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Valid government-issued photo ID (passport acceptable in lieu of driver’s license or state ID)
• I9 or attestation required
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge (passport style, head and shoulders, clear background)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months of start; annual updates required
• Drug testing (10 panel) within 30 days of start
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – positive titers or vaccination documentation
  • Varicella – positive titers or vaccination documentation
  • Hepatitis B – vaccine series and positive titer or signed declination form
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire required
• Must complete facility-specific forms and job description acknowledgment prior to start
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation, updated annually

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position
• Candidates must pass competency exams with limited attempts; remediation may be allowed with approval
• All certifications and documentation must be current and verifiable at time of hire and maintained throughout assignment
