Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
Experience required with Fresenius dialysis equipment
Proficiency in blood transfusions and heparin administration
Orientation provided starting April 13

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (or compact/multistate license valid in Iowa)
Minimum 12 months of recent dialysis nursing experience
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment within the past 15 months (no first-time travelers)
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Valid driver’s license
Skills checklist specific to dialysis nursing discipline
Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred

Additional Information

Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply (details available upon request)
Must be able to quickly interview and respond to contact from recruiters

This position is ideal for experienced dialysis nurses seeking a temporary assignment with a well-established EMR system and specialized equipment. Prior travel nursing experience is required.
