Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 33
Number of Staff: 23
Shift: Day shift only (no night shift)
Patient Ratios: 3:1
Equipment Used: MacLab, GE, Philips
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: Evenings and weekends

Typical Procedures

Cardiac catheterization
Interventional coronary cases
Structural heart procedures
Peripheral interventions
Electrophysiology (EP)

Required Qualifications

Valid Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist, including experience within the last year
Radiology Technician experience
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Cath Lab Tech Certification
Knowledge of USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk standards
