Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Schedule: 5/2 split nights (5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off, repeat)
  • Must be willing to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday
  • Cerner charting preferred

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year

Experience

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Tech role (typically 1+ years)
  • No prior travel experience required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Proof of I9 or attestation
  • Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
  • Background check (7-year criminal history, education verification, federal/state checks)
  • E-Verify proof or attestation
  • Education verification (highest degree earned)
  • Photo for badge (recent, plain background, shoulders up, no filters)
  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Drug screening (10 panel with alcohol test, within 1 year and updated annually)
  • Immunizations and titers as applicable:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required, declination form if declined)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (QGOLD or Tspot within 3 months or 2 PPDs)
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (titer or 2 vaccines, boosters if low titer)
    • Hepatitis B series or positive titer (declinations accepted only under specific circumstances)
    • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, history of chickenpox, or declination)
    • Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/1-3/31) or approved exemption
  • Fit testing for respiratory protection
  • References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
  • Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable

Additional Notes

  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
  • Facility-specific forms and compliance must be completed prior to start
  • Candidates must carry photo ID during shifts
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required by November 30 each year
