Description

CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: CT
Number of Beds: 800
Staff per Shift:
- Day Shift: 5 Technologists + Supervisor
- Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
- Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACs

Job Description

Perform all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
Typical procedures include neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), body imaging, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and pediatric imaging

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
ARRT (R) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Skills in ED trauma imaging
Skills in ED stroke imaging

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GE equipment
Experience in invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture

Work Schedule

Possible weekend shifts
Possible rotation to other shifts
Potential on-call requirement: approximately 12 hours per month

Personality Fit

Team player who can also work independently
Self-motivated individual
