Surgical Tech I

Location: Albany, NY 12208
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3 × 12-Hour Day Shifts
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
On-Call: Possible
Weekend Requirement: 1 in 3 weekends
Holidays: Rotating

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
Strong experience required in: Cardiac, Neuro, Thoracic, Orthopedic, Vascular procedures

Certification Requirement

NBSTSA CST certification
BLS - AHA

Position Overview

The Surgical Tech I assists in the operating room by preparing surgical equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and supporting the surgical team during procedures. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
