Job Description – Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Washington, DC 20032
Shift: 10-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Schedule: 4×10s / 40 hours per week
Position Overview :we are seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses for 10-hour day shift travel assignments. The OR RN will perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties, ensuring safe, effective intraoperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of aseptic technique, be highly organized, and able to anticipate surgical team needs while supporting patient safety and efficient OR operations.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 2 years of acute care Operating Room experience (Required)
Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for various surgical specialties
Travel experience preferred, but not required
Licensure : Active RN License in Washington, DC (Required)
Certifications
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
PALS (Required)
Education: BSN highly preferred
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program (Required)
Must live 50 miles from the facility (travel requirement)
