Description

Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: 1101 W University Dr, Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, Rochester, MI 48307
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 4x10 | On-call: 2–3 weeknights (7 PM–7:30 AM) every 6 weeks | 1-hour response time required

Required Skills & Experience:

Ability to lift, move, push, and pull patients, case carts, instrument trays, and equipment
Comfortable working in a patient care environment with exposure to communicable diseases, odors, acute patient conditions, hazardous gases, and confidential information
Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift

Preferred Skills & Experience:

One (1) year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred
Experience with total joints (ortho) and robotic-assisted general surgery highly preferred

Education Requirements:

Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program
