Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehab
Location: Victoria, TX
Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 – 17:00); 1 weekend per month with flex days

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

• Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional independence

• Deliver therapy services for adult rehabilitation populations, including stroke and neurological conditions

• Perform assessments and ongoing reassessments to monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams including physicians, nursing, and therapy staff

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, strategies, and home programs

• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and timely per facility standards

• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled and comply with attendance and scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist

• Active state SLP license (must be valid at time of submission)

• Current BLS certification

• Ability to work in an inpatient rehabilitation environment
