Title: Certified OR Surgical Technologist (CST) – Surgical Services
Location: York, PA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10-Hour (07:00–17:30)

Job Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist surgeons during a wide range of surgical procedures in the General Operating Room

• Support multi-specialty cases including Orthopedic, Thoracic, Vascular, General Surgery, Robotics, Trauma, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Plastics, and Podiatry

• Maintain strict aseptic technique and comply with universal protocol and time-out procedures

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures

• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently throughout procedures

• Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts

• Assist with patient positioning, draping, wound care, and specimen handling

• Support robotic-assisted surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi system

• Participate in trauma and emergency cases within a Level I Trauma environment

• Assist with instrument processing, sterilization, and case cart preparation

• Float to Sterile Processing as needed

• Participate in required call rotation, weekend coverage, and holiday shifts

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent CST experience (post-orientation)

• Level I Trauma experience required

• Strong experience in Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic surgery (required)

• Multi-specialty OR experience including Orthopedic and General Surgery

• Epic charting experience required

• Ability to work flexible schedules including call, weekends, and holidays

• First-time travelers not accepted

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – NBSTSA (required)

• BLS – American Heart Association or client (required)
