Description

📌 Job Title: Pathologists Assistant
📍 Location: Detroit, Michigan
🕒 Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
📅 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
🎥 Interview Format: 30-minute MS Teams interview

📚 Education Requirements

Required:

Bachelor of Science Degree from a regionally accredited college or university

🎓 Certification & Licensure

Required:

Successful completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologist's Assistant program OR
Previous certification by the American Association of Pathologist's Assistants (AAPA)

Preferred:

PA (ASCP) Certification

🩺 Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of Pathologists Assistant experience
Experience with:
- Gross examination of surgical specimens
- Biopsies
- Complex case assessment
- Preparing and submitting specimens to Surgical Pathology

Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
