Description
Job Title: Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Location: Charleston, SC
Duration: Contract (Duration TBD)
Shift:
Days
• 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) or
• 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• One late week every 4 weeks as needed to complete cases
• No weekends
• No on-call required
Key Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for ambulatory surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room setting

Assist with surgical procedures including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology

Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
-
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative care team to support efficient case flow
-
May be required to precept and mentor perioperative staff within the operating room
Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience

Experience working in an ambulatory OR setting
-
Ability to float within the perioperative department as needed
Current Certifications
-
NBSTSA
-
BLS
-
Radiation badge (must be provided by parent company)
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in multiple surgical specialties, including Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology

Strong teamwork and communication skills
-
Previous experience precepting or training staff
