Job Title
Registered Nurse (RN) – 23-Hour Observation Unit
Location
North Charleston, SC
Duration
13 Weeks (Contract Assignment)
Shift
-
Evening/Night Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
-
Hours: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
-
Monday through Thursday
-
No weekends
-
No on-call or overtime
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 23-hour observation unit
-
Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and respond to changes in condition
-
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols
-
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
-
Float within scope of practice to sister facilities (Downtown, Main, West Campus) as needed
Required Qualifications
-
Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)

Prior nursing experience required

Ability to float between sister facilities
-
First-time travelers not accepted
Current Certifications

BLS
-
ACLS
-
PALS
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous observation or acute care nursing experience

Experience working in ambulatory or inpatient settings

Familiarity with Epic charting
